Clover Time Locations: Key Destinations and How to Travel Between Them
Find Clover Time's key locations — Grimoire Tower, Hage Village and its church, AFK World, the Demon Skull area and fishing waters — and travel between them by broom flight, Finral's paid teleports or the castle-path walks.
Clover Time's map pivots on two hubs: the Grimoire Tower, where you roll for grimoires, and Hage Village, the starter village that holds most services and early quests. Around them sit the AFK World reward area, the Demon Skull training spot, fishing waters, and named teleport points like Soshi Village and Raikawa. You move between them on foot, by magic broom, or by paying the fast-travel NPC Finral — and the compass, quest tracker and spawn crystals do most of the navigating for you.
Location overview
| Destination | Why you go | How you get there |
|---|---|---|
| Grimoire Tower | Roll for grimoires with Mana Crystals; pity counters | Follow the tower icon on the compass, or the castle's left path; on Finral's teleport network |
| Hage Village (starter village) | Priest rerolls, quests, crafting, shops, spawn crystal | Follow the path away from the castle — "you literally cannot get lost" |
| AFK World | Idle spins, an XP/gold buff, weekly Mana Crystals | Via the lobby; return with the "world" option |
| Demon Skull area | Stone-ore bandits, Nero's double-jump training | Short trip to the skull near the village |
| Fishing waters | Fish for money and Mana Crystal fragments | Nearest river or sea to wherever you are |
| Soshi Village, Raikawa | Named teleport points | Finral's teleport menu (paid) |
Hage Village and the church
Hage Village is the working center of the early game — players consistently describe it as the place "where all the important stuff are." (Sources spell the name several ways — Haj, Hag, Haga, even Ragi in some videos — but they all point to the same first village with the church.)
| Fixture / NPC | Where in the village | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Hage Priest | Inside the church | Rerolls Race and Social Class through the same menus as character customization; gameplay videos show trait rerolls here too |
| Stylist | In front of the church | Character customization: hair, shirts, pants, shoes, appearance, height/scale |
| Merchant | Left of the spawn crystal | Rotating stock — weapons, bait, fishing gear; one Arabic-language guide names him Hugo |
| Alchemist | In the village | Sells stamina potions, luck/sea-luck and fishing potions; one video names her Emma |
| Fish trader | In a corner of the village | Buys your caught fish for money |
| Crafting table | Right of the spawn crystal | Crafts tools, fishing rods, swords, guns, armor, consumables and Mana Crystals (5 potatoes + 10 fragments) |
| Furnace | Beside the church | Smelts ores with your chosen fuel into processed materials |
| Spawn crystal | Village center | Set your respawn point |
| Quest givers | Around the village | Sister Lily (level-3 potato quest), Tony ("drive the potato thieves out"), Woodsman Oren, the Farmer, Scout Rowan |
| Hage bandits | Around the village | Drop two potatoes per kill — the farming base for Mana Crystals |
Bandits are worth remembering as a destination feature: each area's enemies drop different loot, and Hage's drop the potatoes that fuel early Clover Time crafting.
Grimoire Tower
The tower is the progression hub you're steered toward from the start — the compass marks it with a tower icon, and inside, every available grimoire is displayed with its rarity (epic, legendary and mythical; one pre-launch video counts ten in total). Each roll costs one Mana Crystal, and a launch-day video shows pity counters at the tower: 175 rolls to a guaranteed mythical, 70 for legendary and 35 for epic.
The gate is locked during early progression — one player chats with an NPC near the tower to receive a key, another simply clicks the gate open, and the profile mission list includes an "entrance to the tower" mission at level 15. Nearby, the Tor Archivist explains how to obtain Mana Crystals for spins. For roll odds and book-by-book detail, see the dedicated Clover Time grimoire tower location page, the Clover Time mana crystals guide, and current Clover Time codes.
AFK World
AFK World pays you for resting: a spin every 15 minutes (used to reroll race, social status and passives), an option every 30 minutes for an XP and gold buff, and weekly reward progress that includes Mana Crystals. Travel is built in — from AFK World you can return to the lobby and then select "world" to teleport directly back into the game without walking. Details are on the Clover Time AFK world page.
Activity and gathering areas
- Fishing waters. From Hage Village, head to the nearest river or sea with a fishing rod and bait, sell the catch to the village fish trader, and chase the Golden Marlin — it yields the Mana Crystal fragments used in crafting. The Clover Time fishing page covers the minigame.
- Demon Skull area. Near the village, the skull's bandits drop stone ores (unlike Hage's potato bandits). Nero also runs a hidden three-minigame workout here — sit-ups, holds and jumping jacks — that awards double jump. It doesn't appear on the quest tracker arrow, so it's easy to miss unless you explore to the skull; one player notes it does show up far down the profile mission list.
- Treasure-map chests. Some bosses drop maps ranging from rare to legendary; using one reveals coordinates leading to a monster-guarded chest with a time-limited puzzle (collecting key fragments, or a broom orb course). If time runs out, the puzzle resets. More in the Clover Time chests and Clover Time bosses guides.
- Quarry at the forest edge. An early combat quest area — "clear the band holding the quarry at the forest edge." Other objectives are listed in the Clover Time quests guide, and raw wood and ore you gather along the way feed the Clover Time gathering loop.
Travel methods and navigation tips
On foot
Two routes are described step by step by launch-day players:
- To the Grimoire Tower: take the path on the left side of the castle and follow it to the end. Where the stairs fork left and right, go straight — "By going straight, you'll already be at the Grimoire Tower."
- To Hage Village: follow the path away from the castle; a couple of mobs partway along confirm you're heading the right way. Or, as one player puts it, "just follow the castle. You can't get lost… you literally cannot get lost in this game." The golden door with the arrow marks where your current quest is.
By broom
Magic Brooms come from early quests and chests — one player pulls one from Tony's quest chest, and a dedicated broom-training minigame quest also unlocks one. Press H on PC to summon the broom (D-pad up on console, per one video), click to mount it, and hold Shift for a speed boost. Flight consumes mana and boosting drains it faster; with no mana invested you fall when it runs out, so early players may still need to walk — and the alchemist's stamina potions help, since flying "consumes stamina and magic too." No grimoire is required to ride. The Clover Time broom guide has the unlock paths.
Finral teleports
Finral is the fast-travel NPC. Launch-day footage names his destinations as Soshi Village, Hage Village and Raikawa, and his menu teleports you between map areas — but each point costs a fee in in-game money, so one beginner video warns to "be careful about just teleporting to the next area." The 80-Robux teleport pass makes every hop free. The complete destination list and exact per-trip fees aren't documented, and Soshi Village and Raikawa are currently verified only as names in Finral's menu — what activities live there isn't documented yet.
Navigation tools
- Compass: the tower symbol marks the Grimoire Tower with a live distance readout — players' launch footage shows roughly 1,200–2,000 meters.
- Quest tracker: an arrow shows the next mission for your level, and when a mission completes, the indicator automatically points to the next one.
- Profile > Missions & NPCs: pick any level-appropriate mission (for example, Earth bandit at level 25 or entrance to the tower at level 15) and it appears on the map — which also shows the Grimoire Tower.
- Spawn crystals: approach a large crystal (it opens as you get near) and hold E to set your spawn. Keep "nearest spawn" turned on and dying teleports you to the closest crystal instead of the walk back.
One caveat before you set out: Clover Time is an active beta and the official page says it is "constantly changing and improving." The opening flow has already changed once — pre-release testers spawned inside the village church, while launch players start facing the tower before being sent to the first village — so recheck named spots after map updates.
With the map settled, the Clover Time beginner guide takes you through what to actually do at each of these places first.
