Clover Time AFK World: How to Enter and What Rewards Build Up While Idle
Enter Clover Time's AFK World from the start-your-journey menu and see what accumulates while you idle: 15-minute spins, the 30-minute XP and gold buff option, mana crystals, and a weekly rewards track.
AFK World is Clover Time's dedicated space for earning while you rest. The official Roblox page bills it as "AFK World: Earn rewards while resting," and a third-party guide describes it the same way: outside combat, the AFK World lets you earn rewards while resting. It runs alongside the active game — boss fights, squads, broom flight — not instead of it. You pick it from the start-journey menu when you enter the game, and while you're there a spin timer, a timed buff option, mana crystals, and a weekly rewards track keep filling up.
How to enter AFK World
Entering AFK World happens right at the start of the game, through the same menu as the normal world and character customization:
- Launch Clover Time and click Play — this takes you straight to the game's initial interface.
- Choose the "start your journey" option (shown as começar jornada in the Portuguese build seen in gameplay footage).
- The journey screen presents three options: an AFK World, a normal world, and character customization.
- Select AFK World.
You know you're in when the AFK World's reward interfaces are on screen: the spin timer, the timed buff options, and the weekly rewards track. Two separate creators' menu tours show the same three-option journey screen with AFK listed alongside customization and the normal journey, so the entry point is consistent.
One gap worth knowing: footage shows entering AFK World from this initial menu, but no source documents how you reach it again later — for example, from the in-game lobby or travel menu — after you've left.
What accumulates while you idle
A creator's interface tour recorded inside AFK World shows what the area pays out and on what timers:
| Reward | Cadence | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Spin | Every 15 minutes | Rerolls one of three things: your race, your social status, or your passives |
| XP and gold buff option | Every 30 minutes | Grants an XP and gold buff; exact values are not stated |
| Mana crystal | Obtained in AFK World; cadence not stated | Used to reroll grimoires |
| Weekly rewards track | Weekly, progress-based | Rewards unlock as you complete the tracked progress |
The 15-minute spin is the most versatile: one currency, three reroll targets. Which of race, social status, and passives are worth rerolling — and in what order — is covered in the Clover Time rerolls guide.
The 30-minute slot grants an XP and gold buff. Its exact amounts weren't stated, and the creator showing it hadn't yet confirmed whether other timed options exist besides those two, so treat the spin and the buff option as the two verified timers.
Mana crystals: the grimoire reroll currency
AFK World is also a source of mana crystals, which you use to reroll grimoires — the creator calls it "very important" for exactly that. The cadence and amount you get in AFK World aren't stated. Other ways to obtain mana crystals mentioned alongside it: crystals spawning on the server, crafting them from gathered items, and claiming them when the developers release codes. Current working codes are kept on the Clover Time codes page.
Getting back out
The same tour shows the travel options around it: you can return to the lobby and the main hall, and from the lobby, selecting "world" teleports you directly back into the game without walking anywhere or pressing anything else. That's general lobby travel convenience observed in one session — it's not presented as a formal AFK World exit procedure, so don't rely on it as one.
What isn't confirmed yet
AFK World's timers are verified, but its fine print isn't. No source states the exact XP and gold buff values, whether more timed options exist beyond the 15-minute spin and 30-minute buff, any cap on how much can accumulate, or whether anything continues while you're logged off or while playing in the normal world. The cadences above also come from a single creator's session recorded while the game was still in development, and Clover Time has been changing quickly — so treat exact values and rules as subject to change after economy updates.
Is AFK World worth using
If you're stepping away from active play, AFK World is where that downtime still pays: a spin arrives every 15 minutes for race, social status, or passive rerolls, the 30-minute option stacks an XP and gold buff, and mana crystals you pick up there feed your grimoire rerolls. Once you know what's banking up, the next decision is what to actually spend those spins on — the Clover Time rerolls guide breaks down the choices.
