Clover Time Grimoire Tower Location: How to Get There and Roll for Grimoires

Reach the Clover Time Grimoire Tower on foot or by broom, then roll for Grimoires with Mana Crystals — displayed rarities, pity thresholds, the possible first-visit unlock and the two-grimoire carry limit, all in one location guide.

The Grimoire Tower is Clover Time's Grimoire gacha — the building where every Grimoire roll happens. New characters spawn directly in front of it, and after the opening tutorial sends you inside for your first roll, it teleports you to Hage village, the first mission hub. From there, two verified ways get you back: follow the marked path on foot, or fly in on a broom. Inside, you interact with the rolling desk and spend Mana Crystals — every recorded roll uses one — with pity thresholds at 35, 70 and 175 rolls for Epic, Legendary and Mythical results.

Where the Grimoire Tower is

The tower is identified on screen rather than by street names:

  • A tower icon on your compass marks the Grimoire gacha, and the compass counts down the remaining distance as you walk.
  • The tower also appears as a named marker on the map inside your profile menu, so you can find it again even with the mission tracker turned off.
  • Your spawn point faces it: a new character starts directly in front of the tower, and the tutorial directs you inside to roll your first Grimoire before teleporting you to Hage village. The compass icon is the way back from there.

How to get to the Grimoire Tower

On foot

The full walking route, mapped from the village area:

  1. Go to the left side of the regular tower (the starting landmark) and take the path that begins there.
  2. Follow that path all the way to the end. The player who recorded it calls it impossible to get wrong, but expects the trip to take a while on foot.
  3. At the stairs, the way splits left and right — go straight.
  4. Going straight brings you out at the Grimoire Tower.

A simpler heuristic works too: keep heading toward the castle. It's the landmark the route passes, and players describe it as impossible to miss — "you cannot get lost going to the tower."

By broom (the fast method)

Once you have a broom — earned through missions or pulled from chests, as covered in the Clover Time broom guide — press H on PC or up on the D-pad on console and fly straight to the tower. Players demonstrate landing right at it, and one flew there specifically to avoid farming up the 1,100 he expected to need for warping.

Flight drains mana and stamina, and boosting drains both even faster, so carry mana or stamina potions on longer trips. Clover Time mana crystals feed your rolls too, so budget for both.

What about teleports?

Clover Time has two teleport systems for general travel: an FH teleport point that warps between map locations for a fee (made free with the 80-Robux teleport pass) and the NPC Finral, who sends you to areas such as Soshi Village, Hage Village and Raikawa. Neither is documented to stop at or next to the Grimoire Tower, so plan the final stretch on foot or by broom rather than counting on fast travel to the door.

How to roll for a Grimoire at the tower

Inside, every Grimoire sits on display with its rarity — epic, legendary and mythical — with roughly ten Grimoires shown in the launch-window recordings. Each has its own listed odds; the mythic Anti-Magic is shown at 1 in 179. Odds differ between Grimoires, so read the board before spending anything.

The roll itself follows the same chain seen in every recording:

  1. Arrive with Mana Crystals — the resource each roll consumes. The tutorial's Asta hands you one on your first day and tells you to spend it at the tower.
  2. Interact with the rolling desk set among the displayed books.
  3. Spend the Mana Crystal(s) to start the roll — recorded runs each spend one crystal.
  4. Watch or skip the animation — a cutscene of Grimoires flying around, matching the anime scene.
  5. Collect your Grimoire — the glow colour signals the rarity, and it's equipped or stored for you.

A few rules worth knowing before you spend:

  • Pity thresholds displayed at the tower: Epic at 35, Legendary at 70, Mythical at 175 rolls in the current system.
  • You can hold two Grimoires maximum — one equipped, one in your bag. Rolling a third forces you to drop one of them; a Robux Grimoire bag lets you carry two copies of each instead.
  • Anti-Magic needs the devil race to be usable, so a mythic pull may sit idle until your race matches — see the Clover Time anti magic guide.
  • A first visit may be locked. Reports differ: one player chats with a character by the entrance and receives a key to open the tower; another calls the arcanist's crafted crystal "a shard of pure mana given by the arcanist for unlocking the tower"; and the written roll checklist includes no unlock step at all. Treat an unlock interaction near the entrance as a possible first-visit step, not a guaranteed gate on every visit.
  • Draws feed achievements: pulling a mythic Grimoire from the tower grants Mythic Touched (+10% Luck), tracked alongside the rest of the Clover Time achievements.

Keeping Mana Crystals stocked

Rolls consume Mana Crystals, and recorded sources show them coming from chance drops in medium and large chests, quest and mission rewards, map spawns trackable with the crystal notifier, quick crafting at a bench (one recipe finished in about 20 seconds), fishing up Golden Marlin for fragments that craft into crystals, and Clover Time codes. That's enough to keep a rolling session going; the full resupply loop is covered in the Clover Time mana crystals guide.

Common navigation mistakes

  • Turning at the stairs. When the path splits left and right, the route is straight — left or right takes you off it.
  • Rolling at the wrong building. The priest at the Hage village church handles race, social class and trait spins. The tower handles Grimoire rolls only.
  • Expecting fast travel. No teleport destination at the tower is documented in current builds, so a "teleport to the Grimoire Tower" option shouldn't be part of your plan.
  • Searching blind. Current builds mark the tower on both the compass and the profile map, so a long, unsure search isn't part of the trip anymore.
  • Flying on empty. Boosting a broom eats stamina and mana quickly; start a long flight stocked with potions.

Once your first Grimoire is equipped, the next decision is what to chase on future trips — compare every option in the Clover Time grimoires tier list before you spend your next crystals at the tower.
